Active Devon offering several training opportunities during early 2023 — Sign up now

 
 

Local non-profit Active Devon has recently been commissioned by Torbay Council to deliver various training during the early part of 2023, focused on their work linking physical and mental wellbeing interventions. Check out the list below for upcoming training dates, which include online and in-person events aimed primarily at organisations that deliver various activities.

  • Joy App/Devon Connect workshop and Q&A session
    When: Tuesday 17th January 2023 from 10:00 — 11:30am
    Where: online session

  • Walk leader training (with free lunch)
    When: Tuesday 21st February 2023 from 10:00am — 3:00pm
    Where: Torquay (venue TBC)

  • Mental health intro/awareness training (with free lunch)
    When: Wednesday 22nd February 2023 from 10:00am — 3:00pm
    Where: Torquay (venue TBC)

  • Mental health intro/awareness training (with free lunch)
    When: Wednesday 8th March 2023 from 10:00am — 3:00pm
    Where: Paignton (venue TBC)

All training and workshops are free to attend. Simply fill out the required survey by clicking the button below. There are also opportunities for small funding pots to support physical wellbeing activity that improve mental wellbeing.

Please note: These sessions are funded by Torbay Council and are therefore currently available only for delivery partners based in the Torbay district.
