The Devon Mental Health Alliance are delighted to be platforming Mental Health Matters’ free webinar, “Crisis Support: An Overview of Devon's Crisis Cafés,” on their Professionals’ Portal. This 40-minute webinar will take you through Mental Health Matters Crisis Cafés in Devon and the supports available. In this article, you can also learn about our partnership with Mental Health Matters, offering ‘Winter Warmer’ drop-in services across Barnstaple, Exeter and Paignton between December 2025 - May 2026.

Crisis Cafés in Devon, Torbay & Plymouth: What Professionals Need to Know

Mental Health Matters operates The Moorings Crisis Cafés across Devon and Torbay, and works in partnership with Colebrook, who operate Head Space, a Crisis Café service running across three venues in Plymouth.

This webinar was designed to enhance professionals’ understanding of how the Crisis Cafés operate across Devon, Torbay & Plymouth, and how they fit within the wider system of urgent mental health support.

The presentation covers an overview of the service, including who it’s for, the support available, how to refer or access the service, and how professionals across different roles can make best use of it.
