Co-produced Wellbeing Open Day to return to Plymouth this May

This spring, pop in to the next Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Open Day in Plymouth’s City Centre. After a successful first Open Day in November 2025, the Devon Mental Health Alliance & the Plymouth Mental Health Collective have announced a second event this May with more stalls to help you find the right support for you.

The Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Open Day will be held at Plymouth Methodist Central Hall, Eastlake Street, PL1 1BA on Thursday 14th May 2026 from 12pm – 4pm. The event is open to all, everyone is welcome, no booking necessary.

Inspired by Community Appointment Days, the event aims to bring communities closer to their mental health services and get on-the-day support and advice. Made with a community-focus, the Open Days are co-produced with Experts by Experience. Ensuring those with lived experience are involved in every stage of the process including, planning, design and managing the event on-the-day. This year, the Experts focused on sharing one clear message in their strapline:

“FREE EVENT - FRIENDLY SPACE - EVERYONE WELCOME”

This free event will bring together a wide range of fantastic community groups and organisations to showcase the many activities and services available across the city that support positive mental health — from walking and art groups to peer support networks and drop-in connection spaces.

Would you like to host a stall?

To build the event's impact, additional stalls have been added to showcase the wide range of services and opportunities in Plymouth. If you are an organisation, service or community group working in Plymouth to support better mental health then you are welcome to sign up for a stall. Stalls are free, and an opportunity to share your work with the community.

To book a stall, please fill out this short form: Stall Sign Up.

Deadline to book your stall is by Wednesday 1st April 2026.

You can view all event details via Eventbrite: Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Open Day*

*Please note: you do not need to book a ticket to attend, the event is free and open to all.

This event is supported by Devon Mind, Improving Lives Plymouth and Livewell Southwest.
