New HOPE and Wellbeing Courses Launch in Exeter and Newton Abbot

Communities in Exeter and Newton Abbot are invited to book their place on two free wellbeing programmes this August, designed to support you to build confidence, improve wellbeing and connect with others in your community.

HOPE Programme Returns to Exeter

A new six-week HOPE (Help Overcoming Problems Effectively) Programme is launching in Exeter for people living with chronic pain, fatigue, low-level anxiety and depression who want to make positive changes in their lives.

The free self-management course brings together people with shared experiences, offering practical support and encouragement in a welcoming group setting. The programme focuses on helping participants identify what is important to them, build resilience and develop techniques to improve their overall wellbeing.

Sessions will take place at the X Centre in Exeter on Mondays from 1pm to 3:30pm from 3rd August to 14th September (No session will be held on 31 August due to the Bank Holiday).

The programme is delivered through the HOPE initiative in partnership with local health and community organisations across Devon.
