Studio KIND. presents: Art and Mind — Get involved with our Barnstaple art exhibition this summer!

We are excited to announce that we are holding our very own art exhibition, which we’re naming Art and Mind, this summer at Studio KIND. in Barnstaple’s historic Pannier Market.

Art and Mind is intended to celebrate the work of community groups across Northern Devon. We are planning to feature pieces from various groups, as well as provide interactive educational pieces for young people and adults in the region.

The exhibition is being organised by Phil Harris, Community Development Lead for Northern Devon, and will take place at Studio KIND, a gallery and project space at The Corn Store in Barnstaple’s historic Pannier Market. Art and Mind will be open for public viewing from Wednesdays to Saturdays between Saturday 15 June and Saturday 6 July 2024.

We are currently looking for expressions of interest from community groups and individuals in the North Devon area who might like to submit a piece of work to be featured. The exhibition will span many forms of art, including but not limited to: creative media, sculptures, paintings, digital art, landscapes, soundscapes, local footage, written and spoken word, and performance pieces such as music and drama. Please complete the form below if you would like to register your interest.

We’ll be sharing more information later in the spring regarding Art and Mind. Sign up for our newsletter if you’re interested in keeping up to date with updates like this from the Devon Mental Health Alliance.
